Dear Marie Claudine Mukamabano,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been nominated to receive the Universal Peace Federation‘s Ambassador for Peace award. We give this honor to individuals who have contributed substantially to world peace through interfaith and reconciliation, service to others or promoting the family. It will be our honor to present this award to you during our event at the United Nations in celebration of the International Day of Families on the theme: “The Impact of Migration on Families around the World”.
The Universal Peace Federation and other co-sponsors are organizing this event in order to discuss how the adaptability and stability of the family can be maintained despite threats by a wide range of social developments, such as migration, and other economic, political or cultural influences.
Our event will be held at Conference Room E, NLB from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, May 17th.
The program is scheduled to run as follows:
10:00-10:55 – Panel “Challenges to the Security of the Human Family”
10:55-11:10 – Break and refreshments
11:10-12:30 – Guest Speakers and Interactive Workshop
12:30-12:45 – Closing Session
In order to discuss the issues and proposals for positive action, the second half of the program is designed to be an interactive, person-to- person workshop.
You are welcome to invite friends to attend. Please register anyone who may be coming by Saturday evening May 15th by emailing Ms. Hanako Ikeno at email@example.com. Remember to give yourself extra time to go through the security and bring a photo id.
